  Sheabel Animal Clinic has been a staple of consistency for terrific animal care longer than any other animal hospital in Lexington. From top to bottom, the staff are caring and genuinely concerned about the animals they treat. We recently rescued a mother cat and her kittens and when I went to visit I was instructed to wash and sanitize my hands before I handled the kittens. Impressive. Then my cat of 13 years developed a tumor in his mouth and throat and nearly died. Dr Jude, possibly the kindest person on Earth, lasered it out and two weeks post-op my cat is healthier looking than he's been in years! Dr. Jude monitored my cat personally post surgery and gave him to me at nearly 10 PM at night, plus there was a Dr. Kimber there on her own time checking in on him too. This kind of dedication is rare in general but common at Sheabel Animal Hospital. I am forever grateful for their kind regard for the animals they treat.

  We love Dr. Arnold. I've never had a better veterinarian who bends over backwards to help me and my animals. Dr. Arnold will always be held in high regard at our home for what she has done for us. I also have a lot of respect for the rest of the staff. They are sincere and also care. Overall, I only wish that I found Sheabel sooner. I know my pets would have had better care had I made the decision. Just be advised that you should always shop for care and get quotes for services. Never just walk in and take what you get. This comment has nothing to do with Dr. Arnold. It's any clinic that you go to.
